Basic information about us.
The Holley by the Sea (HBTS) Fishing Club. It is a not-for-profit organization.
The organization was created to educate, encourage and assist those HBTS property owners who desire to learn more about fishing in a fun-filled and friendly environment while promoting good sportsmanship and resource conservation throughout our community.
A. Members must be at least 18 years of age. (Anyone attending club meetings/events under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult).
B. Membership is open to all HBTS Property Owners and tennant with HBTS Recreation Center Privileges.
C. There are no restrictions on the number of members.
D. HBTS Fishing Club does not discriminate membership admission because of race, creed, color, national origin, sex or marital status.
E. A HBTS Property Owner* that is a nonmember of the Fishing Club may attend a maximum of two Fishing Club Meetings/Events before being required to pay dues.
A. Dues for the calendar year January 1 to December 31 will be $5.00 per year for single membership and $10.00 for family membership (2 or more family members). First year dues for new members joining after July 31 will be $2.50 for single membership and $5.00 for family membership.
B. Dues for continuing members shall be paid by January 31 of each year.
C. No refunds of dues will be made for any reason.
D. Full membership in good standing shall be awarded upon payment of dues.
Rules of Conduct
A. Any un-sportsmanlike conduct will be grounds for dismissal.
B. When necessary, the Executive Committee will conduct a hearing to review any grievances brought against a member and determine by vote if membership removal is justified.
C. Non-payment of dues by continuing members will result in termination of membership.
